It's a Foot Stompin' Rope Swingin' Barrel of Fun!Monty's songs tell stories, celebrate the joy of reading, and entertain with plenty of humor and intelligence. "Monty has a terrific awesome, knee-slappin' program," says librarian, Leslie Langley of Wister, OK. "His connection to reading and books is so deeply cool that it sends kiddos racing to the shelves to check out books." Monty's performances have been a fixture of Oklahoma summer reading programs for more than a decade. Each year Monty creates new songs to fit with the statewide summer theme. He has written and recorded four cassettes of songs for the Oklahoma Department of Libraries, each of which was distributed to every public library in the state for use with their children's programming. Monty's June and July dates disappear quickly, starting around October each year. However, he is available for library performances year-round! Find out more:
