Meet & Greet, 1st-5th Grades
- Perfect add-on to an assembly. Students interact informally with Monty for Q&A, group photos, autographs, and an extra song or two. Up to 30 students, 15-30 minutes.
- Classroom Concert, 1st-5th Grades
- All the elements of a Meet & Greet with a full concert of five to seven songs. Up to 30 students, 30-45 minutes.
- Virtual Classroom Concert, 1st-5th Grades
- All the elements of a concert done remotely via Internet. Great for teachers who are Monty fans but don't live nearby!Up to 30 students, 30-45 minutes.
- Science of Sound, 3rd Grade
- Why does an acoustic guitar need a sound hole? How do tension, length and thickness effect the pitch of a string? Monty uses his guitar to lead an investigation into the science of sound. Plus Q&A and a song or two for fun. Up to 30 students, 30 minutes.
- Science Frontiers, 3rd-5th Grade
- In this mini-version of the Songs from the Science Frontier assembly program, Monty shares songs and stories about actual scientists' current research. Great for launching a science unit or to inspire and motivate students preparing for a science fair! Up to 30 students, 50 minutes.
- Music and Movement, PK-1st Grade
- Don't let your afternoon PK-K miss out on the fun! This mini-version of the "Dance Out Loud" music and movement assembly provides more interaction for a smaller group. Up to 75 students, 40 minutes.
- Oklahoma History, 4th Grade
- In this mini-version of the Oklahoma Treasures assembly program, fourth graders can get more in-depth with Monty about the research and history that went into writing each of the songs. Topics may include the Land Rush, the Oil Boom, the Dust Bowl, Oklahoma heroes and wind energy. Up to 50 students, 50 minutes.
- 4-Step Feedback, 2nd-5th, teens
- Do your students get a chance to revise their creative work based on input from their peers? This process can lead to dramatic improvements in writing, art, and/or acting skills! Monty teaches a four-step process for group feedback which you can easily learn and implement yourself for future projects. Students critique Monty's latest song! Up to 30 students, 50 minutes.
- Tag-Team Songwriting, 2nd-5th
- Each group contributes to the creation of a brand new song. Progress from one group is passed to the next, and at the end of the day all participants gather to hear the finished product! Song topics can fit any pre-selected curriculum or theme. Three classes minimum, Up to 30 students each, 50 minute sessions.
