One Year!Can Evalyn already be one year old?!?!? She is talking, walking, even singing and drumming. She amazes us daily with new tricks and talents. Do we sound like typical bragging parents? Oh, well. We are proud of our little one. Here, finally, is a long overdue scrapbook page devoted entirely to her. And for the first time, we present this page in Multimedia!! Evalyn's First SongEvalyn recorded her first musical composition on Freestyle software on March 18, 2002. She was busily banging away on both the piano and computer keyboards. This allowed her to be the musician, producer and sound engineer all at once. Note the innate sense of rhythm indicated by the repeated themes of three accented notes as well as drum beats in pairs. Her dynamic range is stunning, (especially at full volume). She’s a natural! |

Daddy's FingerHere we are on our way to Petaluma, California for the CMN National Gathering in October, 2001. (See "Love This Baby" below.) We had stopped to see the cacti in Saguaro National Park in Tuscon, Arizona. Evalyn was not that interested in the cactus. She was very focused on chewing Daddy's finger. |

Love This BabyBelow this photo is a recording of Daddy singing "Love This Baby" live at the CMN National Gathering in Petaluma, California in October 2001.
