About This Song This song is available as a bonus song on the Take Me to Your Library CD. You'll find it among the extras if you put the CD in your computer. This song was included on "Universal Love 4 Kids," a compilation CD to benefit the New York Police & Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund, produced by Art Halperin. This song was written by fourth graders during a cooperative workshop with Monty at Washington Grade Center in Ada, OK. The workshop happened just two months after 9/11. The students were asked to write a patriotic song. Many expressed thoughts and feelings related to recent events in New York, and those discussions colored their lyrics.
