Never Kool
My favorite class is chemistry 'cause she's there beside me.
She's really fun to talk to and I think she kind of likes me.
I catch her on the sidewalk and I ask her to a show.
She lights up a cigarette and says she'd love to go.
Suddenly she doesn't seem so wonderful to me now.
I tell her I just thought of someplace else I have to be now.
I had such a crush on her but now she's no temptation.
'Cause cigarettes are never cool in any situation.
The new guy in geometry is really cool, yeah.
He's walking to our building with me after school, yeah.
He looks me up and down and says, "How 'bout we make a bet."
He says he thinks I'll be too scared to smoke a cigarette.
I tell him I would never smoke because it's unhealthy.
He starts to light one up - I say, "Please not while you're with
me!"
I thought he was really something but he lost my admiration,
'cause cigarettes are never cool in any situation.
When you meet that certain someone whom you think is a sensation
then you find out they're a smoker it's a total devastation,
and it makes you want to yell out loud in anger and frustration
that cigarettes are never cool in any situation!
